Smiley faces all round at 10 am yesterday (note the RSM leading the whole group of cyclists and still managing a catalogue face!). Very proud of your amazing achievement!

Wimbish In-Service SSAFA

This year has been a good one for fundraising for ssafa! We have funds to respond to needs that individuals face and on top of that we have raised enough that we can think about bigger, more lasting projects.

This would be pointless without asking you what you want. So we are asking for suggestions. What do you think our communities (Wimbish and Wethersfield) need? Can you see any areas where money would be well spent (not really up for backyard pool expenditure for individual families or bars in single soldiers rooms but other ideas welcome!)? Even if it isn't an idea that requires money, if you can see a way our communities and lives can be improved please let us know either on the facebook site, at the HIVE or in the suggestion box in the Village Hall.

We want to hear your voice!

*Whilst we will try we can't promise to deliver on every idea but all suggestions will be weighed equally.

Yorkshire 3 Peaks

A big well done to all the Carver Wives that conquered the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge over the weekend.  Just under 25 miles in 12 hours!
A big THANK YOU to 33 and 101 Engr Reg (EOD) and The Bombshells for their financial support and a massive 'high 5' to SSGT Trev Speariett for organising the weekend.
