Joyce Frankland : Facebook Safety

Joyce Frankland Academy: Facebook safety

We have been made aware by some of our students that an unknown adult male has been making friend requests to our students on Facebook.  He is claiming to know some JF students and has a picture of a student, to back up his claim.

The claim of being personal friends with JF students is untrue.
Please could you take this opportunity to remind your children about safety on social networking sites and  not to accept as friends people that they do not know personally.

The above has been taken from a 'parentmail' to all parents at Joyce Frankland- a reminder though that we should all be vigilant with FB!
