Give Blood: Dates for Lord Butler Centre

Blood is something we all expect to be there for us when we need it, yet only 4% of us give blood - many people would not be alive today if it wasn't for the generosity of our donors. Most people can give blood, but all donors have to meet the eligibility criteria before their blood is accepted to ensure there's no risk of us harming you or the patients who will receive it.
To make sure you can donate, please check this information first
Lord Butler is our closest unit and have various dates available: Next session

Storybook Soldier

What is Storybook Soldiers?
As every Forces’ family knows, separation from family and loved ones can be one of the most difficult things to cope with during an operational deployment.
Storybook Soldiers is a FREE scheme which provides a link between parents who are away on operations and their children.
Soldiers are recorded reading a bedtime story for their children to listen to.
Music and sound effects are added and the finished disk is really special.
The recording session takes no longer than 15 minutes. The soldier chooses a
story from the approved books (this list is quite exhaustive : you probably have
the book at home which you can bring with you)
How do I make a Storybook CD for my child?
Just contact Nic @ HIVE and make an appointment - 01223 203772
